PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce size in a direction in which light is applied to a cell in a magnetic measuring device. SOLUTION: A magnetic sensor element 10 included in the magnetic measuring device includes: a cell 11 including an atom excited by circularly polarized light inside; a mirror 12 for applying pump light applied in the negative direction of the Z axis to the cell 11 in the positive direction of the X axis; a mirror 14 for applying probe light applied in the negative direction of the Z axis to the cell 11 in the positive direction of the Y axis; and a mirror 15 for reflecting components of the probe light transmitted through the cell 11 in the positive direction of the Z axis.
