<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that since a scrubber tower having a plurality of scrubbing stages becomes very higher, a severe demand is placed on a pump for circulating a precess fluid so that a large volume of the process fluid can be pumped up to the height (top) of the scrubber tower. <P>SOLUTION: A scrubber includes the plurality of scrubbing stages (1-4) which are arranged in the scrubber tower at levels different from one another. At least one of the scrubbing stages (2-4) above the lowest scrubbing stage (1) comprises ring-shaped tanks (10, 15 and 20) which are arranged inside the scrubber tower so as to surround central channels (9, 14 and 19) through which the gas to be cleaned can pass upwards. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
