<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of abnormality (failure) during a time when an air conditioner is intensively used, and to quickly detect generation of abnormality and signs of the generation of abnormality in order to take an early countermeasure. <P>SOLUTION: A remote monitoring system 10 determines whether conditions of starting test run are satisfied or not. When the system 10 determines the conditions are satisfied, it starts the test run and performs abnormality detection processing or failure prediction processing of an air conditioning system 11-1.
