PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor which is manufactured at low cost and has stable temperature characteristics. SOLUTION: The temperature sensor includes a resistance pattern 150 made of platinum foil 111 directly joined to the surface of a ceramic substrate 101, thus providing a temperature sensor capable of manufacturing a temperature sensor having stable temperature characteristics at low costs. As a result, the temperature sensor can be used at a temperature higher than the heat-resistance temperature of an epoxy resin, which is different from a conventional one, where the platinum foil is adhered to the ceramic substrate by an adhesive differing from the epoxy resin.
