PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a conveying roller restricting deterioration of conveying characteristics. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a conveying roller 31 provided in a printing device for recording information onto a sheet-like recording medium to convey the recording medium includes: a first process for forming a nearly cylindrical cylinder member 16 by bending a plate material; and a second process for correcting an axial bend of the cylinder member 16 occurring in the first process with a plurality of correcting rollers 120 arranged along the axial direction.
