PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship in which sub-propellers are provided on a hydrofoil to reduce the size and weight of an engine, so that the weight saving of a hull and fuel economy are improved, and operating performance such as turning is also improved. SOLUTION: The hull 2 is provided with an engine 4 imparting driving force to the hull 2 by rotatively driving a main propeller, and a bottom part is provided with the hydrofoil 8 imparting upward lifting power to the hull 2. The sub-propellers 10L, 10R connected to a motor driven by power generated with a generator installed in the ship are provided on the hydrofoil 8 toward the rear of the hull 2 with respect to a traveling direction.
