PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a large amount of air blown from the front side from entering into a child seat from a front lower portion of the child seat when a bicycle is travelled with a footrest member positioned at a second attitude in a child seat for the bicycle in which a rear end of the footrest member provided on a front side of a seat portion is pivoted on the seat portion and the attitude of the footrest member can be changed from a first attitude to the second attitude where the footrest member is swung downward. SOLUTION: Right and left sidewalls 9 of a seat body 3 extend toward a front side of a seat portion 11, and a guard wall 7c connecting the right and left sidewalls 9 is provided on a front end between the sidewalls 9. The footrest member 4 includes a bottom wall 16, right and left sidewalls 17 extending upwardly from right and left ends of the bottom wall 16, and a front wall 18 extending upwardly from a front end of the bottom wall 16. When the footrest member 4 is positioned at the second attitude, a portion between a lower end of the guard wall 7c and a front end of the bottom wall 16 of the footrest member 4 is covered by the front wall 18 of the footrest member 4 from the front side.
