PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a reflection screen for accurately isolating a reflection part from an external light absorption part. SOLUTION: The reflection screen includes: a projection light reflection part 12 for having a plurality of unit shape parts composed of recesses 11 formed in a vertical direction and a horizontal direction for a normal of an observation face of a screen substrate 10, and reflecting projection light on the recess 11; and an external light absorption part 13 for absorbing external light. The method of manufacturing the reflection screen for reflecting the projection light projected toward the observation face of the screen substrate 10 on an observation face side has the steps of: forming a plurality of the recesses 11 on the screen substrate 10 with light absorbency; forming a reflection layer 26 on the recesses 11; and separating the reflection layer 26 by irradiating a part of the reflection layer 26 with a laser beam LB.
