PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet bowl eliminating a difficulty in sampling feces and treatment after sampling in a Western-style toilet to allow feces sampling hygienically and easily without using a feces sampling sheet for stool examination and reducing waste into the toilet. SOLUTION: The Western-style toilet bowl is structured to easily sample feces by draining standing water in the toilet bowl 1 to reduce the amount of water so that the feces hardly sink. An electric drain valve 3 is attached to the bottom part of the standing water in the toilet bowl, and when the electric drain valve 3 is opened, the standing water is drained to lower the water surface, and the inside of the toilet bowl is exposed to allow defecation in a usual forward-facing posture in a large part without water.
