PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt for a shoe press, which has improved dimensional stability and crack resistance, and further has excellent crack growth resistance. SOLUTION: The belt for the shoe press includes a resin member and a belt base fabric A for the shoe press which are embedded in the resin member. The belt base fabric A for the shoe press has a warp quadruple weaving structure having warp yarns 10 and weft yarns 20. The warp yarns 10 have four kinds arranged in order of the first layer warp yarns 11, the second layer warp yarns 12, the third layer warp yarns 13, and the fourth layer warp yarns 14 into vertical four layers. The weft yarns 20 comprise only one straight weft yarn 25 arranged only at one position between adjacent two yarns formed by the adjacent warp yarns, and bent warp yarns 21 interweaving the warp yarns 10, and the two warp yarns 12 and 13 positioned adjacent to the straight yarns 25 are nylon yarns.
