PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine island which can effectively prevent retention of balls by a simple structure and does not keep players waiting during counting operations in response to improvements in service. SOLUTION: A ball collecting route 600 of the game machine island comprise: an acceleration gutter 610 which accelerates the falling speed of balls after passing through a ball counting device 500; an out-ball collecting gutter which conveys out-balls to a ball lifting device; a first ball collecting gutter 800 which conveys balls to a temporary storage tank 630; and a second ball collecting gutter 900 which conveys balls to the ball lifting device. The first ball collecting gutter 800 has a divergent gutter 810 which forms a divergent part and a rolling and falling gutter 820. The width of the divergent gutter 810 is smaller than that of the acceleration gutter 610. The out-ball collecting gutter is positioned by the first ball collecting gutter 800. The second ball collecting gutter 900 is positioned by the first ball collecting gutter 800 and under the out-ball collecting gutter.
