<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust from adhering to the surface of a protective glass, before a sealed space is formed, in a dust-proof structure for sealing a liquid crystal panel. <P>SOLUTION: The sealed space S is formed by a dust-proof cylinder part 4, having elasticity and the liquid crystal panel 1 covered by the protective glass 5, is arranged in the sealed space S. A hole part 9d is made in a light shielding mask 9 provided in the sealed space S. A dust-proof film 10 is stuck on the protective glass 5, before the sealed space S is formed, and the end 10a of the dust-proof film 10 pulled out from the hole part 9d is pulled, after the sealed space S is formed to thereby peel the dust-proof film 10 stuck on the protective glass 5.
