PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately support a business through a vending machine.

SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes: a control request reception means for receiving a control request from portable terminal equipment; a specification means for specifying electronic settlement terminal equipment based on a control request received by the control request reception means and association data; a command transmission means for transmitting a control command through the electronic settlement terminal equipment specified by the specification means to the vending machine; a control result reception means for receiving a control result corresponding to the control command transmitted by the command transmission means through the electronic settlement terminal equipment by the vending machine; a storage means for storing the control result received by the control result reception means in association with the portable terminal equipment in the storage device; and a control result transmission means for, when receiving the acquisition request of the control result from the portable terminal equipment, transmitting the control result to the portable terminal equipment.
