<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assist device in lying/rising for bedding for assisting a user lying on the bedding in easily rising or lying by himself/herself. <P>SOLUTION: The assist device includes a support part 3, an attaching part 4 and a comforter holder member 5. The comforter holder member 5 includes a plurality of comforter suspenders 5b and a hand-rest 5c in a body 5a. A comforter 1b of the bedding 1 is suspended and held by the plurality of comforter suspenders 5b so that the comforter does not directly touch the user lying on the bedding.
