ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of light extraction of an organic light emitting display device.

SOLUTION: The organic light emitting display device includes an organic light emitting element in which a light emitting layer (5) formed of an organic material is held between a reflecting electrode (a lower electrode 2) and a transparent electrode (an upper electrode 8). A surface, opposite to the light emitting layer (5) side surface, of the transparent electrode (the upper electrode 8) is provided with a light extraction layer (9) containing fine particles higher in a refractive index than the transparent electrode (the upper electrode 8) and zinc oxide of pillar shape.
