PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-core writing utensil which prevents ink in an ink storing tube from being deteriorated owing to light and further ensures a slim appearance. SOLUTION: In the writing utensil, the barrel 2 is composed of a front shaft 3 and a rear shaft 4 that is connected to the rear end of the front shaft 3, wherein a plurality of writing elements 6 are housed movably in the longitudinal direction in the barrel 2. An operating body 7 is connected to the rear end of the respective writing elements 6, and a plurality of springs 8 for energizing each operating body 7 backward are stored in the rear shaft 4. A plurality of window holes 41 extending longitudinally are penetratingly provided in the radial direction on the side wall of the rear shaft 4, while a spring supporting member 9 for supporting the front end of the spring is fixed to the inner wall of the rear shaft 4. The operating bodies 7 are each projected outward in the radial direction from the respective window holes 41. The front shaft 3 and the spring supporting member 9 are constituted of a non-transparent material, while the rear shaft 4 is constituted of a transparent material. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
