PURPOSE: An impact absorption mounting bracket and a vehicle steering column having the same are provided to improve the crash safety of a vehicle by absorbing the Impact by the collision of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An impact absorption mounting bracket comprises a first flange(220), a second flange(210), a column bracket(205), and a hinge bracket(230). The first flange comprises a column through hole(223) through which the steering column is penetrated. The second flange is formed by bending the end part of the first flange. The second flange comprises an intermediate shaft through hole(215) in which an intermediate shaft is penetrated. The column bracket comprises an engage flange(217) which is bent from the second flange to face each other. The hinge bracket comprises a support flange(233) pivotally combined in the side of the engage flange.
