<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel that can improve assembling accuracy by simplifying the assembling work of a second sealing device disposed on the axial outside of a sealing device located between an inner ring and an outer member. <P>SOLUTION: The bearing device 1 for the wheel includes a hub shaft 9 mounted with the wheel; a double raw tapered roller bearing 2 arranged in the outer periphery of the hub shaft 9 and having the inner ring 10, the outer member 3 and rolling elements 5; a first sealing device 7 on the vehicle inner side disposed between the inner ring 10 and the outer member 3 of the double raw tapered roller bearing 2; and the second sealing device 8 interposed between the inner ring 10 and the outer member 3 on the axial outside of the inner ring 10 and outer member 3 rather than the first sealing device 7 on the vehicle inner side. The second sealing device 8 includes a slinger 16 fixed to at least one of the inner ring 10 and hub shaft 9, and a sealing member 17 fixed to the outer member 3 and brought into sliding contact with the slinger 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
