<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current detector which can attain a reduction in size and height as well as high heat dissipation, and also is inexpensive and accurate. <P>SOLUTION: A wiring pattern 3 through which main circuit current flows is formed on a printed board 2, and part of the wiring pattern 3 is to serve as a detection resistor part 4 for detecting the current to detect a current value by voltage drop occurring across the detection resistor part 4 in proportion to the magnitude of the main circuit current. Detection voltage extraction lines 8 and 9 for leading the detection voltage are respectively connected with both ends of the detection resistor part 4. Meanwhile, where a pattern width of the detection resistor part 4 is Wp [mm] and a width of the wiring pattern 3 where the main circuit current flows is W [mm], the widths are specified in a range of 4≤W/Wp, whereby the wiring pattern 3 can effectively function as a heat dissipator so as to suppress heat generation in the detection resistor part 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
