PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin-type vibrating motor that easily varies the amount of generation of vibration in an axial direction, and simply adjusts the amount of generation of vibration according to equipment to be applied. SOLUTION: A short-circuiting coil 10 is provided in an eccentric rotor 3 including a coreless rotor coil 7. Both the ends of the short-circuiting coil 10 are connectable to an external short-circuiting resistor 13 having an optional value of resistance, and are short-circuited via the external short-circuiting resistor 13. When the eccentric rotor 3 rotates, an induction current corresponding to the value of resistance of the external short-circuiting resistor 13 flows in the short-circuiting coil 10, thus generating a demagnetizing field of a field magnetic field by a field magnet and generating an axial vibration force. The axial vibration force depends on the value of resistance of the external short-circuiting resistor 13, thus adjusting the amount of generation of vibration of the coin-type vibrating motor to an optimum value according to the equipment to be applied by selecting or adjusting the value of resistance of the external short-circuiting resistor 13 to an optimum value.
