<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical member that stably achieves high anti-reflectiveness regardless of kinds of substrates. <P>SOLUTION: The optical member includes a glass substrate and an antireflection film formed on a surface of the glass substrate. The antireflection film includes: an oxide layer mainly composed of aluminum oxide, and having an unevenness shape on a surface; and an intermediate layer formed between the glass substrate and the oxide layer.
