<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a generator in which an operation of a propulsion motor is not restricted due to a power shortage by a transitional increase of a propulsion motor load occurring when the propulsion motor is accelerated, and by a load increase of a high speed operation of the propulsion motor. <P>SOLUTION: In an electric propulsion system having a hybrid power supply consisting of a storage battery 1(B) and a generator 5(G) charging the storage battery, a control means reduces generator voltage and power obtained by reducing battery charge power is supplied to increased propulsion motor power, when power of the propulsion motor increases owing to a certain cause and total power to be supplied to the propulsion motor and the storage battery from the generator exceeds an upper limit setting value of generator output if the system is to be operated while power is supplied to the propulsion motor 11(M) rotating a propulsion propeller and the storage battery from the generator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
