<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program and a method for controlling print, and a printing system for proposing sheet reduction when an effect in saving a resource is large without automatically canceling setup contents of printing conditions. <P>SOLUTION: A printing device 1 can execute a sheet reduction mode for printing a plurality of page images altogether on one paper sheet. An information processor 2 controls the printing at the printing device 1 by means of a control unit 211. The information processor 2 calculates a sheet reduction ratio in changing the setup conditions of the printing conditions on the basis of the information of the number of page images indicating the number of the page images to be printed when the setup contents of the printing conditions indicating that how many page images should be printed on one paper sheet, and controls the printing device 1 so as to print according to the setup contents of the printing conditions set by a user when the sheet reduction ratio is smaller than a threshold. When the sheet reduction ratio is larger than or equal to the threshold, the information processor 2 displays the proposal changing the setup contents of the printing conditions to a display 22 and controls the printing device 1 so as to perform printing according to the contents of the specified printing conditions selected by the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
