PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a destination locator in an ID/locator separation network based on route information etc.

SOLUTION: A corresponding ID/locator mapping device includes: a mapping information acquisition unit which acquires mapping information as information on correspondence between an ID and a locator in the ID/locator separation network; a route information acquisition unit which acquires route information; and a control unit. The control unit acquires destination locator candidates for a locator corresponding to a destination ID by reference to the mapping information, acquires the route information corresponding to the destination locator candidates by reference to the route information, and selects a destination locator out of the destination locator candidates based on the route information corresponding to the destination locator candidates.
