PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which reduces a load applied on an operator's body, improves efficiency in work, and enhances the appearance of the circumference of a cashier counter when equipment such as bags is used. SOLUTION: A payment settling device 10 which is erected on a top plate 21 of a payment settling counter 20 includes a money accommodation part (automatic change machine 16) which accommodates money. The payment settling device 10 additionally includes an equipment accommodation part 17 which accommodates equipment below the money accommodation part. The equipment accommodation part 17 is a space which is formed between the money accommodation part and the top plate 21 when the payment settling device 10 is erected on the top plate 21.
