PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connection member capable of preventing a connection retaining force between electrical connection members and its electrical characteristics from decreasing even if the electrical connection members are repeatedly connected and disconnected, and capable of reducing space as a whole and being miniaturized and thinned, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The electrical connection member establishes an electrical connection by causing connection members facing each other to fit together. Each of the connection members is formed to project from an end of a base in the plane direction of the base, and one of the connection members includes a conductive, approximately flat base part and a contact part formed to protrude from the base part. The rear end portion of the contact part of the one of the connection members widens in a taper shape and a very large diameter portion is formed at the front end portion of the contact part.
