PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential pressure type damper for a detached house having no risk of causing a phenomenon such as not being able to easily open an entrance door, a window or the like even if a differential pressure of an interior and an exterior of a building due to operation of a 24 hours ventilation system, a range hood fan, a bathroom ventilation fan, or the like becomes large when installed in a detached house. SOLUTION: The differential pressure type damper has a pressure regulating valve 4 held in a spring 3, and by opening and closing the pressure regulating valve 4 in correspondence to a pressure difference of the interior and the exterior, a ventilation passage 8 formed in a wall surface is opened and closed, and outside air is introduced into a room. By setting a spring pressure of the spring holding the pressure regulating valve, the pressure regulating valve can be operated such that the pressure difference of the interior and the exterior of the room does not exceed about 10 Pa. Setting of the spring pressure is carried out by any one of selection of springs with different spring pressures, selection of the number of springs, or selection of the number of dampers to be installed.
