PURPOSE: A device for opening and closing a waterproof mat is provided to effectively prevent an embankment from collapsing by remotely controlling a motor depending on a water level. CONSTITUTION: A device for opening and closing a waterproof mat comprises a water mat(1), a guide bar(2), an extendable bar(3), a motor(4), and a controller(5). The waterproof mat is installed on the inclined surface of an embankment. The guide bar is installed to be horizontal to the surface of the embankment and supports the waterproof mat. The extendable bar is rotatably installed in one end of the guide bar. The motor is installed in the end of the extendable bar. The center shaft of the motor winds the waterproof mat. The controller controls the operation of the motor. |
