PURPOSE: An image monitoring apparatus and recording medium recorded in an image monitoring program are provided to easily search for a specific image in a monitoring region that is photographed by a plurality of cameras. CONSTITUTION: A motion detection unit(30) detects a motion region from a monitoring region image of a photographed monitoring region. A motion data generation unit(40) generates motion data about the detected motion region. A monitoring control unit(50) generates monitoring region image data as a monitoring region image file. The monitoring control unit stores the monitoring region image data in an image storage unit(20).
