PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of suppressing fading and of avoiding occurrence of display unevenness and image persistence, and showing good display quality. SOLUTION: In the display device, subpixel electrodes 122a, 122b, a buffer capacity 210 and TFTs 116, 117, 118 are formed in each pixel. The TFTs 116, 117 are driven by a signal supplied to an n-th gate bus line 111, while the TFT 118 is driven by a signal supplied to an (n+1)-th gate bus line 111. The subpixel electrode 122a is connected to the TFTs 116, 118, while the subpixel electrode 122b is connected to the TFT 117. In addition, the drain electrode 118a of the TFT 118 is connected to the lower electrode 211 of the buffer capacity 210.
