<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fairing structure inside a nozzle body by a simple means without using any complicated machining. <P>SOLUTION: An uneven part 4 having a shape corresponding to a shape of a fairing structure 3 to be formed on an inner wall of a nozzle body 2 is formed on a surface of a cone-shaped master 1 formed of aluminum, and a copper coating film 5 is deposited on the surface of the master 1 by the principle of the electroplating method. After depositing the coating film 5, the outline of the nozzle body 2 is ground. The master 1 with the nozzle body 2 being formed thereon is immersed in acid solution such as diluted nitric acid, or alkaline solution to dissolve only the master 1. Then, the nozzle body 2 having the fairing structure 3 formed on the inside wall thereof is formed. In a series of processes, any mechanical machining means is not used for forming the fairing structure 3, and the fairing structure can be easily manufactured even when its structure is complicated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
