PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for preventing a cover from being closed in the state where a liquid container is mounted incompletely on a mount part. SOLUTION: An ink cartridge 100 includes an ink chamber 102 and a vertical wall 126. A cartridge mount part 202 includes: a locking arm 230 which can change its posture between a first posture in which the arm 230 engages with the vertical wall 126 to hold the ink cartridge 100 in the mount position and a second posture in which the arm 230 is not engaged with the vertical wall 126, and which is energized so as to change its posture to the first posture; a cover 250 for opening/closing an opening 207; and cylindrical parts 256 to 259 disposed on the cover 250.
