PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil filter that is suitably surface-mounted on an electronic circuit board by automatic mounting, takes a mutual arrangement of components into less consideration, has superior high-frequency characteristics, and actualizes wide-band isolation. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a wide-band filter for blocking an electromagnetic wave or high-frequency signal propagated while superimposed on DC electric power or a signal etc., of electronic equipment, the wide-band filter being characterized in that conductor wires of coil ends are electrically joined, in advance, to both sides of an intermediate part 1a where conductor wires, adjacent ones of which are electrically insulated, are wound in a coil shape so that conductor wire parts wound once or more may form electrically conducting short rings 1b in a ring shape, the conductor wires wound in the coil shape including electrode parts constituting the short rings are cylindrically formed, and ends 1c of the conductor wires are inside end faces and outermost circumferential parts of the coil shapes.
