PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator and a motor which are low-cost, can be assembled and changed easily, and can adjust electric power generation and rotational output without using accelerating and decelerating action such as gears and belts to natural energy that has unstable elements fluctuating constantly. SOLUTION: These are a noncontact unit-coupled generator and a noncontact unit-coupled motor, in each of which one or more rotating units and one or more generating units are so laid on top of the other as to be magnetically coupled with each other for power generation and driving. The number of generating units is increased or decreased to cope with an environmental change after installation to regulate electric power generation and rotational output to fit the environment.
