PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate playback of contents, which are held by a DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) corresponding apparatus installed in a network in home, from the outside. SOLUTION: A content playback system includes a gateway device 10 and a mobile terminal 20 having a DMC function. The gateway device 10 includes a port mapping means 11 for setting port mapping based on a content list as a list of contents available in the network connected to the gateway device. The mobile terminal 20 includes a content list converting means 21 for converting arrangement information of the contents included in the content list based on the port mapping setting set by the port mapping means 11, and a playback controlling means 22 for performing control so as to play back the contents in a network other than the network connected to the gateway device based on the content list obtained by conversion of the arrangement information by the content list converting means 21.
