PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the image quality of a printing result when performing printing for irradiating photo-curing ink adhered to printing paper with ultraviolet light to cure the ink. SOLUTION: A printing face printed based on an input image data ID is divided to set two or more regions, and the ink amount adhered to each of the regions set based on the input image data ID is calculated. Based on the calculated ink amount, curing energy necessary for curing the ink adhered with respect to each region is calculated. Ink is adhered to printing paper P based on the input image data ID, and a curing unit 130 irradiating the printing paper P with ultraviolet light for curing is controlled so as to achieve the application of ultraviolet light by the curing energy calculated with respect to each region.
