PURPOSE: An ultrasonic detecting device for a steel plate is provided to prevent the surface corrosion or deformation of the steel plate since sprayed water is completely removed. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic detecting device for a steel plate comprises a roller table(10), a water spraying unit, an ultrasonic detecting probe, and an air spraying unit. A steel plate(1) is placed on the roller table. The water spraying unit is installed on the front end of the roller table. The ultrasonic detecting probe is installed on the middle part of the roller table. The ultrasonic detecting probe comprises an edge detecting probe(50), which is installed on both sides of the roller table, and a body detecting probe(60), which is installed on the lower part of the roller table. The air spraying unit is installed on the rear end of the roller table.
