PURPOSE: A reverse rolling method and a reverse rolling apparatus are provided to extend the service life of a pressed roll and prevent damage to a pressed roll due to the asymmetry of the shape steel. CONSTITUTION: A reverse rolling method comprises the following steps. Rolled material passes through a rolling mill in a rolling progress direction and is rolled. The rolled material is rotated at 180 degree. The rotated rolled material passes through the rolling mill in the reverse direction of rolling progress. The rolled material is rotated at 180 degree. The rotated rolled material passes through the rolling mill in the rolling progress direction and is rolled.
