<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element which has excellent luminous efficiency and excellent durability (in particular, durability when driven at high temperatures). <P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element includes, on a substrate: a pair of electrodes; and at least one organic layer arranged between the electrodes and having a light-emitting layer that contains a light-emitting material.
