PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength locker for independently controlling a temperature of an etalon element part, and stably controlling the temperature of the etalon element while preventing an influence of a change in ambient temperature, even when the material of the etalon element is changed according to the use, without changing a method of mounting a thermistor element for controlling the temperature of the etalon element. SOLUTION: The wavelength locker independently controls the temperature of the etalon element 2 by the thermistor element 3 arranged in the vicinity of the etalon element 2 on a wavelength locker substrate 1. An object 11 is arranged in contact with a surface 2c, other than optical resonator surfaces 2a, 2b, of the etalon element 2 and the substrate 1.
