PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire being excellent in on-ice performance, steering stability, rolling resistance and wear-resistance. SOLUTION: The tire is characterized in that a rubber composition in which 5-50 pts.mass of a low molecular weight modified conjugated diene based polymer (B) having a weight average molecular weight before modification of 2×10<SP>3</SP>-15×10<SP>4</SP>and 10-200 pts.mass of a reinforcing filler (C) containing hydrous silicic acid (C1) in which a cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide adsorption specific surface area (CTAB)(m<SP>2</SP>/g) and the mode A<SB>ac</SB>(nm) of a diameter of a primary aggregate determined by acoustic particle size distribution measurement satisfy the following equation (c-1): A<SB>ac</SB>≥-0.76×(CTAB)+274 are formulated based on 100 pts.mass of a rubber matrix (A) containing a high molecular weight modified conjugated diene based polymer (A1) having a weight average molecular weight before modification of the value exceeding 15×10<SP>4</SP>-200×10<SP>4</SP>is used for any one of tire members.
