PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix partition furniture without degradation in its appearance, nor damages on a floor plate, etc., to allow stored objects to be taken in and out and to pass through an entrance smoothly without being affected by the bottom plate of the partition furniture, and to enable arbitrary change in the depth of storage sections on front and back of the partition furniture. SOLUTION: Front and back steps 2a are formed in lower plates 2, 2' of a floor of a building, and a recess 3 is formed between the steps. A bottom plate 4 of the partition furniture 1 is placed in the recess. A floor plate 16 which continues in the front/back direction is placed on the upper surface of the lower plates 2 and the bottom plate 4, and side plates 10 erected on the bottom plate are allowed to penetrate through the floor plate 16. An entrance/exit tunnel 17 penetrating the partition furniture 1 in the front/back direction and having an upper surface of the floor plate 16 serving as a floor surface is arranged. A back plate 18 of the partition furniture 1 is movable in the direction of the thickness of the plate, so that the depths of the storage sections 20 on front and back of the back plate can be changed.
