PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushion side frame adequately improving strength and rigidity while suppressing an increase in mass and an increase in size, and to provide a seat frame including the cushion side frame. SOLUTION: The seat frame includes: a thick wall section which constitutes a part of the framework of a seating section of a vehicle seat, and extends along the back-and-forth direction of the seat, with the side on which a seat back of the seat is installed as the rear, and includes a joint portion with a reclining device for adjusting the inclination angle of a seat back frame constituting the framework of the seat back section; and a thin wall section connected to an end portion in front of the thick wall section and having a smaller thickness than the thick wall section.
