PURPOSE: A device for testing hydrogen induced cracking is provided to enable a user to easily observe the progress of a test, to enhance the reliability of the test through the inhibition of the chemical reaction of a container and to prevent neglect accident. CONSTITUTION: A device(100) for testing hydrogen induced cracking comprises a container(10), a guide plate(30) and a plug(50). The container holds test solution and is formed using a transparent material. Alternatively, the container is formed using a tempered-glass material. The guide plate is coupled to the container and comprises a fixed hole, into which a specimen(80) is inserted. The guide plate comprises a first guide plate(32) and a second guide plate(34). The first guide plate is coupled to the upper end of the container and comprises an inlet hole, to which test solution is supplied. The second guide plate is coupled to the lower end of the container. The plug is removably coupled to the fixed hole. |
