<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display input device, a failure display method and a program, allowing a worker to easily visually recognize an importance level or occurrence frequency of failure having occurred in a control target apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The display input device includes a display part, a recording part, and a connection part connecting a control device imparting an operation instruction to the control target apparatus. The display input device further includes a display control part displaying a state of the control target apparatus through the control device. The display input device further includes an operation control part controlling operation of the control target apparatus through the control device. The display input device further includes a failure totaling part recording a failure occurrence frequency in each failure occurrence part. The display input device further includes a discriminating part discriminating the kind and the importance level of the failure, and the kind of a detection device, and discriminating the failure occurrence frequency per prescribed time in each failure occurrence part.
