<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To interlock the power between devices while suppressing power consumption during standby without using a power control signal. <P>SOLUTION: The storage device 10 stops a system control device 21 connected with a host device in standby state. The storage device 10 starts the system control device 21 when detecting rise of a signal received from the host device via a host communication line 20a by an OOB (Out Of Band) detection circuit 23.
