PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition that is for forming dry type sliding film (dry film) onto sliding members, and not only can make the film excellent in lubricity, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and heat resistance, but also can improve long term stability of a sliding part by improving chemical resistance and adhesiveness, moreover is out of environmental control and is environmentally friendly. SOLUTION: The coating composition includes a binder resin, fluororesin as a solid lubricant, fluorine-based surfactant, and organic solvent, wherein either a straight chain fluorine-based surfactant having perfluoroalkyl group or a branched chain fluorine-based surfactant having perfluoroalkenyl group is used as the fluorine-based surfactant.
