PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation feeling when connecting a terminal fitting. SOLUTION: A rectangular tubular section 21 is in a form, where a plurality of plate-like sections 22, 23, 24, 25 are connected in a circumferential direction via creases 26, 27, 28 along an insertion direction of a tab 11 and include a pair of opposing plate sections 23, 24 disposed while sandwiching the tab 11. The rectangular tubular section 21 is elastically bendable to expand and narrow the opposing interval of the pair of opposing plate sections 23, 24. An elastic contacting piece 31 is in a form of extending from an end edge section nearly in parallel with an insertion direction of the tab 11 in the first opposing plate section 23; a sliding surface 32 with the tab 11 in the elastic contacting piece 31 is in a form of inclining relative to an insertion direction of the tab 11; and the interval of an insertion space 34 of the tab 11 is in a form of being narrowed gradually toward the front in the insertion direction of the tab 11 by the elastic contacting piece 31.
