PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drip sheet which is placed under a food product such as seafood and meat or wrapped around the food product in order to absorb drips (blood) from the food product, and particularly to provide a drip sheet with an increased absorption of the drips and a facilitated handling, while preventing a back-flow of the drips and a slip of the food product. SOLUTION: A drip sheet 1 is provided, which absorbs a drip D from the food product. The drip sheet 1 includes an absorbing layer 2 having a fluid absorbability and a surface layer 3 integrally formed with one side of the absorbing layer 2. The surface layer 3 is made of hydrophobic fibers 6 and porous having microscopic gaps between the fibers. The surface layer 3 is made in a porous paper having the microscopic gaps between the fibers made of the hydrophobic fibers 6, and the microscopic gaps between the fibers are uniform.
