PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watering can preventing water splash when carrying, and reducing a storage space when storing. SOLUTION: The watering can includes a watering can body 1 opening an inlet in the upper surface and storing water inside, a handle 2 unitedly formed on the outer surface of the watering can body 1, and a tubular outlet pipe 3 projectedly installed in communication with the front surface of the watering can body 1. The watering can is installed with a hook 6 as an L shape member rotatably attached to the bottom of the watering can body 1, selectable in a projecting posture and a storage posture, and a storage part 7 recessedly installed on the bottom so as to store the hook, and also installed with a slide rail 8 made of a recessed groove or a projecting row extended on both the edge parts of the inlet and their extension, and a slide cover 10 having a plane shape allowing to cover the inlet, and forming an engagement part 10c slidably engaged with the slide rail 8 on both the sides.
